i think chad has all the physical skills but he has nothing going on in the brain dept.
The knock on Chad is that he was immature coming out as a junior. He's 23 now and has served two years under a veteran WR Corps. It's now or never for him, at least with the Patriots. I believe that he'll be fine. He could even emerge as a star.

It entirely depends on other contracts .
If gaffney , moss and welker come back and our TE remain healthy i do not see alot of 4 WR packages .

alot 2 TE package means wes/gaffney and moss will be on the field with watson/thomas as the receiving TE guys .

if kelly washington is signed to a long term contract being the chad will be a FA next year and with gaffney, moss, wes and kelly signed long term i wonder how much time they will invest to develop him.

He's got plenty of talent and he had legitimate injuries. The knee is a 2 year rehab for a speed player.

With the WRs we had last year, it would have been foolish to rush him back.

Hopefully, he's used his time well and has a god attitude.

He could be anything from a bust to an all pro and anybody who says different is full of beans. He hasn't been healthy long enough to integrate and he has unlimited physical potential.
