Both suck, but at least they received a 1st round pick for Seymour.
The Vikings got him back for very little. Pats got hosed once again.
A guy who caught a 1,000 yards and 13 TD's last year? Sure .Not really. Probably slightly better than market value for a WR of his caliber.
I think it shold be interesting to see if people here feel the trading of Moss was worse or not as bad as the trading of Seymour

The Pats traded a 3rd and 5th for a washed up DE who was injury prone and had two good seasons. What does that have to do with his current value?
A 33 year old declining WR with character concerns gets a 3rd.
A 25 year old ascending Super Bowl MVP WR with character concerns gets a 5th.
Nobody is paying a 2nd and a 3rd for a top 5-7 WR with character concerns.
But I realize this is part of your shtick and you wouldn't be the delightful old you without it, so carry on wayward son.
The moss trade easily.I still think they will make a move for a wr.I dont think they just trade away a player and stick with wat they have.

Case closed.
No, it's to point out their terrible negotiation skills. The Burgess trade, while crappy, is also totally irrelevant.
