The two most disappointing weeks this season were not weeks in which we lost, but weeks in which we won.

The victory over KC and the victory over the Bills.

ok

good post

You are absolutly right the kc and buffalo wins are so hollow.. Im glad they are 11-5, but we were in a no win situation to rely on the jets..

I know, but the only reason we were in that situation is that overtime loss to them back in November. Had the defense been able to hold them below a touchdown on their last drive in regulation, or hold them without a field goal on their first drive in OT, we would be 12-4 and be either the 2 or 3 seed in the playoffs instead of having our season be over.

In fact, the real reason the 2008 Patriots fell short of their predecessors of the past 5 seasons is not that Brady went down, it is that the defense went down. Losing Asante Samuel and the multiple injuries on defense are in the end, what hurt us more.

yup....its sad too considering this will probably be matty Cs last days as a patriot. he turned out to be pretty darn good. at least we are getting a 1st round pick for him at the minimium
