Re: Bart scott says he is going after brady ,fines or no fines

Did I somehow sleep through 4 months? Is this the AFCCG?

It will be for the Jets during the first few possessions and then the teams will settle down and play football.

The Jets think Miami spooked the Pats last year and the Jets are trying the same approach.

I'm pretty skeptical; the Texans played poorly last week. We'll see soon.

Wayne Brady looks like Matthew Slater :)

I hope if Scott punches someone and tries to run like Channing Crowder did, he gets killed by the O-Line.

Re: Bart scott says he is going after brady ,fines or no fines

I think after all the talk from by the jets the reffs will be watching bothe teams but the jets especially.

If Brady gets hurt don't blame me, blame your Oline, I have nothing to do with this game, I am just a fan.

No, it's all your fault Gunnails! ;):D

Re: Bart scott says he is going after brady ,fines or no fines

If Bart Scott sacks Brady, good for him.

If Bart Scott makes any even remotely dirty hits on Brady, there will be blood spilled. Like gushing spillage.

With all this bulls*t talk - aren't the referees going to be on high alert? I mean, go ahead - be blatant about wanting to hit Brady - fine or no fine (dirty) - I mean, you're just asking to be kicked out of the game, right?

The Jest gameplan is to put big hits on the Pats players, whether or not they have the ball in their hands.

This whole "lots of screen passes, etc. to counteract the Jets' aggresiveness" talk is overly simplistic. I think Ryan doesn't bring the heat as much as we're expecting, but rather wants to physically intimidate us, or worse. Screen passes are fine, until your QB gets knocked out of the game on a late hit.

As I said in another thread, the Zebras are going to decide this game by how much leeway they give the Jets on cheap or late hits. After what happened when he played us last year with the Ravens, Bart Scott could very well get thrown out of this game and then suspended for a late hit on Brady or someone.

Man, a lot of Americans lack a sense of humor.

We got it easy in the UK.

Not only that, but the "geniuses" spewing this talk on the Jets are putting a huge bullseye on their backs from the league's lawyers if anything happens.

True strategic Einsteins, those Jets.

I just can't see it remaining a professional match-up of professional athletes if something happens to Brady from a dirty hit.

Re: Bart Scott says he is going after Brady, fines or no fines

The best part of this hype the past week is the Jets have once again become my most hated team in the NFL, passing the Stoolers once again.

Prior to this week, they were like a fly buzzing around a Sunday BBQ.

Annoying, but nothing more than that.

Now they are back to where they belong; totally hated.

For the players, the coach and the fans to be shooting their mouths off, it shows how pathetic that franchise is, 40 effin years of buffoonery.

And if they win this "AFC East SHOWDOWN!!!" and vault into sole possession of first place after week two, who the **** cares, 14 more games to go you morons.......................

I was just thinking that god forbid the jets lose today, someone from the NY/NJ area is going to call a "friend of the family" and rexy will be no more.....

If anything happens to Brady rest assured the same will happen to Sanchez and the Jets have to come to Foxboro later this year.

Yes they pay him to talk in the sense that he is a huge part of the change.

Bart is instrumental in changing the teams idenity and attitude.

You pay him to convince people you think you are gonna win:rolleyes:
Ryans act is going to get ugly in NY when you go 6-10

Re: Bart scott says he is going after brady ,fines or no fines

not any other team. Only the Pats and maybe Steelers. If the Lions said it people would root for them being the underdog. This is the NFL though. If you win they change the rules, if you've been losing (Jets) then they'll look the other way. Last year was a great example. IMO, the pats had a lot more penalties not called because we didn't have Brady. This year, the first game we're getting roughing the passer calls on simple knockdowns.

You bring up a good point. That's the whole socialist mentality of the league at work. It's all about leveling the playing field and pulling the "big bad bullies" back to the rest of the pack.

Only Monty Python had a sense of humor(humour?). And Ricky Gervais.

I can see why you as a Pat fan would be happy with the SOJ attitude of the past, me I welcome the change.

I hope Ryan is smart enough to think that far ahead but having watched his father in Philly, I can't be sure that the apple didn't fall far from the tree.....

so he kicked a Patriot instead ;)
