This is the first time in the history of the United States that the president has sought to provoke a financial panic to get legislation through Congress.
This effort to promote panic is especially striking since the country's dire economic situation is almost entirely the result of the Bush Administration's policy failures. First and foremost, the decision of Secretary Paulson and Chairman Bernanke (and previously Alan Greenspan) to ignore the housing bubble, allowed for the growth of an $8 trillion bubble, which is now collapsing.

The most sad thing is these same sheeple are going gaga over Sarah Palin, who is the dumbest P/VP candidate ever.

Our POTUS may soon be someone who went to 4 colleges in 6 years, graduated in communications, and was a sports anchor.

To answer your title no. To the rest of your statement it just shows how clueless you are. It was your socialist heros who insisted they loan money to people who could never afford it.

Well it's clear why you are a yellow dog democrat. I've stated my voting record very clearly here many times. I have no reason to lie.

Michael, the reason they accuse us of lies is because they can't see beyond their own. They lie so, by their reasoning, we lie. If they could see the truth, would they even be voting for "THEONE"

It's a shame really, I think otherwise they are good people.

The problem with the question is it doesn't take into account the Illegal ways BUsh won these two elections. 50% of americans DIDN'T vote for him. Check the voter fraud in Ohio...

Vote Fraud 2004: How Ohio was "Delivered" to Bush

Its sad.....whats going on right now is truly sad.

Our country, our flag, our constitution has been stolen from us. We the people have given up our rights, our wallets and out hearts...all stolen by the elite.

we can't blame ONLY the people who voted bush, we need to blame the people who let the gratest crime of a democracy (Voter fraud) happen. These people who talk about spreading freedom, and then turn around an falsify your vote if its not for the people who fund the falshood.....

After 2 elections were stolen, the world trade center collapsed, the pentagon was on fire, New Orleans was destroyed, the financial collapse, two endless wars....I'd say we can easily call the current president a failure, even if none of this was his fault (which he pretty much claims) He has done nothing...I reapeat NOTHING to help fix it, its only gotten worse.

The blame for W being put in office doesn't fall on the voters, but the backing of his failed policy DOES. You people, who for years have been posteing here and supporting this evil man are to blame for the aftermath. I KNOW you are not the richest one half of 1% of americans who have been benefiting from King George's policy of "The Buck stops there...or might never stop anywhere...FREEDOM!" mentality. Everytime you laugh about what an idiot he is and how come Kerry couldn't beat him...ha ha ha...the joke is on all of us. Everytime you say STUPID things like "Kerry would've been worse...etc" I get sick. That arguement couldn't hold up in magical fantasy fairy class 101.

    we are no longer "Free"

we have been robbed by the very people we though we trusted.

and some here, and elsewhere, even in my own family, back this grant theft-amero on a daily basis.

I can accept being fooled once...I was.

BUt this is rediculous, how far is too far, people? How many of you are sick of this?

THERE WAS NEVER ANY SURPLUS!!!!!!!!

So while I'll agree that the Bush presidency has been pretty abysmal, I'm trying to figure out how he's to blame for Ford making crappy vehicles, oil costing $93 a barrell, the Dow Jones being 43 points lower, and tuition costing $1,600 more?

So let me get this straight. Holy says voter fraud stole elections for Bush (delivered Ohio), so Michael posts a link that says fraud (deliver Penn.) helped Kerry, and somehow, someway, Michael is the eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil appeaser.

How do you explain the voter fraud in Pennsylvania?

Power Line: Voter Fraud in Pennsylvania

Your "proof" is no better than a blog.

You guys know what is $#@%#@$^ crazy?

The fact that even now, about 30% of Americans still support and approve of this administration.

So basically... democracy runs on carrying the dead weight of a population where 1/3 is completely brain dead or partisan beyond repair.

How long did it take you to ask everyone? What did you say to those 90 million people?
