Heard from a friend of a friend that attended the Pats/Saints pre-season game that parking had been bumped up to $50.00. I was at Training Camp two weeks ago and all the stadium signage I saw was still at $40.00. Can anyone confirm that stadium parking increased 25%???? Or hopefully he possibly parked in a off-site lot and didn't know the difference.

Everyone I know paid the usual 40 and they weren't extremely far away.

$50 to park a car? What a waste of money.

Might as well buy $50 of some nice Patriots memorabilia and watch it in HD @ home.

Just not the same as being there..............not even close, unless you enjoy watching the ball only.

As has been debated in here before, there is so much more to see in person than on TV - HD, 3D whatever, doesn't matter. Watching the schemes, substitutions, sidelines, coverage, patterns or simply zeroing in on one player for a while is what makes being there so awesome to me.

However, I am leaving the money factor out of the equation, if money is a factor, I can surely understand someone choosing home HD over parking, seat cost, food cost and time/travel etc etc.

My usual lot is a bit of a walk from the stadium and was only $30 last Thursday. Last year regular season was $40. Hopefully, they dropped the price this year, but my guess is the reduced price is preseason only.

:agree: nothing like the real thing! Some of the best games have been the worst hassle and the worst weather but still worth it. The preseason opener was packed, it's great to be there if you can do it.

One of the things I will look incredibly fondly back on will be sitting in the snow with my then 5 year old son watching the Patriots destroy the Titans. It was completely worth the $220 for tickets, $40 for parking, and whatever I spent in food, gas, and tolls from South Jersey to Foxboro and back. Nothing can compare to the shared experience and bonding we had that day.

Main lots were still $40, some of the private lots before the stadium were $50.

That's the same price as last year and I think previously.

I have resident parking passes and those are still $40. I expect all of Krafts lots are still $40.

How much are some of the smaller lots down route 1 a bit? I know you miss out on the tailgating doing that, but convenient if you want to get out much quicker...anybody know of those prices, and specifically a good spot?

Lowest I saw last week was $25, but that was way down on Route 1. Some lots where you can still tailgate are $30. I still dont think saving the extra $10 is worth it, its a long walk and better atmosphere tailgating in the main lots.

I'm not sure if you're coming from the North or South. We'd come in from the North and about 75 yards beyond the North St. intersecton is a mini strip mall. It opens at 9am with plenty of tailgate room. The owners of that lot do know how to pack them in however. It was $50 last year but it was well worth it for when u exit, a state trooper will force u to turn left which means you're going north on a southbound lane making it an express lane all the way to Rt. 95 . It will save you 30 minutes at a minimum especially if everyone is leaving at the same time.

If you get off 95 at exit 9 and head towards the stadium on rte 1 a place called Foxboro Terminals is on the left at the last set of lights before the stadium. This lot is $40 and has a solid tailgating scene with lots of port-o-potty available. It is a 10 minute walk to the stadium. I have used this place twice - once we were able to bypass rte 1 altogether by turning right out of lot and using backroads to get to highway - the other we were forced to turn onto rte 1 but we were still in minimal traffic compared to dealing with the main lots. I highly recommend.

If you want lower prices, less traffic and don't mind a quieter tailgate, you can park on North St, where some of the homeowners open their yards. Pay $25 - $35, and avoid the traffic on Rt 1.

The one I park at provides a bathroom, a canopy in bad weather, and has a huge firepit where they provide the wood for free, all for $25. I don't miss the parking lots. I got tired of getting hit by footballs, blaring, competing music from the cars on either side, never mind the traffic issues.

The walk isn't bad at all - down the railroad tracks 300yds, 100yds thru the woods, and walk thru the media parking lot (little to no foot traffic around), across the luxury lot, and in the small side gate (again, not as many people piled up at the gate).

I thought the town outlawed homeowners opening their property for event parking
