Nice drive to try to come back an win too. 5 yard plays with no timeouts probably won't do it.

So much for being a Yale grad, one of the dumbest offensive play calls I've ever seen. Nevermind Lynch and all RB's showing they could run through the Jets defense, but your quarterback is JP Losman, one of the worst NFL QB's in the league. I mean, are you kidding me, second and 5 and you roll out with JP f'en Losman? Do not put it in his hands when you don't have to. I am f'en pissed right now. That and San Fran not being able to score a TD on the Dolphins. When the time of possession ratio in a game is as crazy out of whack in your favor, how do you not win. Jets fans, between the holding call on the McKelvin run back and that god awful play call, what a gift.

I hear yeah on the five yard play, JP Losman averages what, 2.1 yards a completion. The guy loves throwing the 3 yard dump when it's 3rd and 15. He sucks and that's giving him too much credit - did they really waste a 1st round draft pick on that guy? He's a small QB with no arm and zero intangibles, what the hell were they thinking.

It all comes back to the Indy game. We had no business losing that game and it's goign to cost us the playoffs.

    Agreed..
instead of a chance to be alone in first with a win (the jets and phins loosing), all the pats can do now is remained tied..

Both the Jets and Phins could have and should have lost today..

Did any one hear the nice story from Dierdorf about how JP was 'keeping his sense of humour'? He knows he's not going to be with Buffalo next year, and he's hoping he can put together a highlight reel to show teams next off-season? If this guy lands any where but Canada, I will stop watching football.

If I was a Buffalo fan I'd be slitting my wrists. Bad coaching + bad quarterback = losing a close one they should have won. I hope we murder Buffalo in two weeks, regardless of whether we're playoff bound. I want a blowout against those losers.

Couldn't agree more. I think they could still lose to Pitt today and to (at) Dallas next week. I know they're scoring a ton of points lately, but I'm still not sold on Flacco.

Very true and we still have to win out, but say we end up 11-5 and miss the playoffs. THat will just be ridiculous on every level.

Jets got bailed out and should have lost. Bills better lay down for the Pats in two weeks. And Jauron should be fired.

I thought one big part of what we need was about to fall in place and then I couldn't believe it when Loss-man dropped back on 2nd and five with the two minute warning six seconds away. The rest just played itself out in slow motion.

If I were a Bills fan I would be beyond furious at my HC for such a dumb call and at my QB for not protecting the ball in that situation. It's not like he was hit full force from the blindside.

But, we're at the mercy of stupidity and bad play when we don't control our own destiny...

Sure as hell that most everyone except Patriots fans liked those two outcomes, to set up a Jets - Dolphins showdown on week 17. It is hard to be getting close to being on the outside looking in. We are spoiled, no doubt. It was good. It will return. Not over 'til it's over though.

Total and complete annihilation. I want gadget plays to run up the score in the 4th quarter when we are already up by 30. I want Vrabel and Rosie who play wishbone with Losman's legs.

You know, forget about tiebreakers, and point differentials and whatnot. If you go 11-5 (still a big if, I admit), you should make the playoffs. Period.

Seriously, 11-5 gave the Raiders the #1 seed in the AFC in 2002 and now it's not good enough to make the playoffs? I think it's dumb enough when a 10 win team doesn't make it, considering that a 10 win team won it all last year. Considering how many 9-7 teams and even 8-8 teams have made it this is just stupid. And there's a good chance it will happen in the NFC, too.

No kidding, between that and Miami holding on, I felt like we lost before our game even started and now, up 21-7, I still don't feel overjoyed.

And the Ravens are winning as well....dammit.

I put that as much on Losman as I do on Jauron. I mean, obviously it's a PUTRID playcall, but how does your internal clock (and then just your good sense) not click on in that situation? JP Losman is an ABORTION of a quarterback.

God Losman is horrible. I guess I've been so spoiled watching Brady and now Cassell for the past 8 years that I forgot how bad a QB can be --- even before the fumble the Bills were winning in spite of Losman. The guy simply cannot complete a pass longer than about 8 yards.

Nevermind internal clock, if you watch the replay back, before the defender was actually able to take out Losman arm, he grabbed him by the pads - you'd think the guy has some kind of instinct to tuck the ball away when he feels someone coming at him from behind - he just held it out there with no reaction at all like he was ok with the strip.

Isn't Jauron the same guy who was like 0- 50 or some crazy streak with challenges - he BLOWS.
