Kinda figured the Pats would check in on him.
He would be amazing here, but unless he's willing to restructure, don't see it happening.

I'm pretty sure that the Patriots check in on almost everyone.

His name has been floated within different message boards. I'm sort of surprised Didn't he just re-up with Philly?

Patriots would probably need to trade for him with another receiver to offset that dead-money some. I could see Amendola being someone that they might have interest in as part of a trade package.

Highly doubt he comes here, probably one of those things where they throw the Patriots in there to generate more interest. Then again, BB considers all options. But, that would be insane.

He would have to lower his 2014 salary in half from 10.5M

If Philly was going to trade him then they should have done it on the first day of the league year, when all the free agents were available. At this point they're better off holding on to him and making a decision in the off-season. For what it's worth, Jackson is still young; he won't turn 28 until December.

    2014:
    $10,500,000 base salary
    $12,750,000 cap number
$6,500,000 cap savings if cut or traded
$6,250,000 dead money if cut or traded

    2015:
    $9,750,000 base salary
    $12,000,000 cap number
$8,000,000 cap savings if cut or traded
$4,000,000 dead money if cut or traded

    2016:
    $9,750,000 base salary
    $12,000,000 cap number
$10,000,000 cap savings if cut or traded
$2,000,000 dead money if cut or traded

I would rather sign Usain Bolt.

Jackson is a "me" first player. Don't see a good fit for him here. Seems to be a bit of a Dbag as well on the field

They can convert most of it to bonus and get it to get his cap number to around $4 million. Although it would make his cap the next two years a bit unmanageable.

At this point, I wouldn't bet on this to happen, but Dillon and Moss were known as "me first" players when they got here. I can't see Jackson being a long term solution because one great year and he is going to demand a huge deal again, but if the Pats want him for an one year rental it would be a good (yet expensive) pick up.

Jackson is an electric player, but he's also a 175-lb WR with a nasty concussion history and a reputation as an iffy locker room guy. That's a heck of a contract for Philly to saddle itself with.

Restructure/extension first then pull the trigger! A legit home run threat WR who can run the ball and return kicks too? He improves the team, he's picking up.

Correct me if I am wrong but if we traded for him doesn’t his bonus accelerate and the Eagles own that leaving us responsible for this –

    2014 – $10,500,000 Base Salary, $250,000 Workout Bonus, $10,750,000 Cap Number
    2015 – $9,750,000 Base Salary, $250,000 Workout Bonus, $10,000,000 Cap Number
    2016 – $9,750,000 Base Salary, $250,000 Workout Bonus, $10,000,000 Cap Number

He is a good player not sure that I would pay him $10M a season for the next three years though, I think he would have to take a pay cut to be considered by the team.

Jackson thinks he is currently underpaid. The only think I think the Pats can hope for is to convert base money into a bonus if they were to acquire him.
