To the winner goes the spoils, but whatever happened to "a different kind of politics" I wonder. The more things change, the more they seem to stay the same.

EXCLUSIVE: Democratic donors rewarded with W.H. perks

White House touts ethics in rewards for fundraisers
    By Matthew Mosk

During his first nine months in office, President Obama has quietly rewarded scores of top Democratic donors with VIP access to the White House, private briefings with administration advisers and invitations to important speeches and town-hall meetings.

High-dollar fundraisers have been promised access to senior White House officials in exchange for pledges to donate $30,400 personally or to bundle $300,000 in contributions ahead of the 2010 midterm elections, according to internal Democratic National Committee documents obtained by The Washington Times.

Obama will change the Washington culture just as soon as Deval changes the Beacon Hill culture.

I'm not sticking up for him but was Rome built in a day?

When you say jump, Obama should say how high?

Some things are hard to change or should not be changed, I never heard him say he wasen't going to be doing fund raising for the next elections.

I guess you misinterpreted him somewhere along the line.Unless you can show me where he said he was not going to be a fund raiser anymore? Its part of the job-description, thanks to people like you who only want rich/christans/family men/women in office.

You reep what you sow I guess...........It should be about who is the best person for the job not the richest fake christans you can find.......

Well, I for one knew what we were getting, so I'm not in the least bit disappointed, or surprised. To the winner goes the spoils, and Obama has every right to govern as he deems fit, so long as it's not illegal obviously. My point here is that Obama promised to be different, but he's simply more of the same. The only thing different is the party that occupies the space.

Sorry did not respond, but had to make some cash, next time will not step away for so long:rolleyes::rolleyes:... Judicial Watch is an interesting source, as all they watch is the Democrats... when Bush was in office they did not watch Bush.. they should change their name to Obama Watch... would be more reflective of their efforts...

Here is some more silence for you all..

Yea a few, a very few :rolleyes: everyonce and a while Drudge posts a critique of the right also.. it is what it is a partisan site.

Used to like their site, until they revealed their very obvious bias... you just have to go to their front page... that is all you need to know.. the same old shyt investigating Acorn, but silence on the Jamie Leigh Jones Rape and all the rest of the defense contractors fraud...

Democrats are now in the spotlight because they hold the power in Washington. We fielded our fair share of inquieries from Judicial Watch previuosly.

It pales, and you know it despite your idle rhetoric... have watched this site for a while now and if you claim it is not biased, you have not been paying attention... selectively it raises a few issues with the right, but nothing like it does for the left...
