that's a good number right there. Surprising that we only used 3 lb's. Fletch didn't get on the field. All 8 DL played. Ras-I Dowling didn't get any snaps either. Did he practice at FS last week? Or, just not healthy enough to go. Kudos to Mike Reiss. Here ya go.

    CB Kyle Arrington – 54 of 54
    S Patrick Chung – 54 of 54
    LB Gary Guyton – 54 of 54
    CB Devin McCourty – 54 of 54
    LB Brandon Spikes – 52 of 54
    S James Ihedigbo – 51 of 54
    DT Vince Wilfork – 48 of 54
    LB/DE Rob Ninkovich – 47 of 54
    DE Andre Carter – 40 of 54
    DT Kyle Love – 30 of 54
    DE Shaun Ellis – 27 of 54
    CB Leigh Bodden – 21 of 54
    DL Albert Haynesworth – 20 of 54
    DE Mark Anderson – 19 of 54
    DT Gerard Warren – 10 of 54
    DE Jermaine Cunningham – 8 of 54
    S Sergio Brown – 3 of 54
    CB Antwaun Molden – 2 of 54

I remember Fletcher was used in a few goal-line packages on offense. But given how little he was used—perhaps his roommate (GRONK) shared his illness with him?

Vince will probably start losing weight if he keeps on playing nearly every down. ;)

Haynesworth is driving me nuts, I can't figure it out -- nagging injury, poor conditioning, or bad attitude? I watched him closely through binoculars yesterday and it's clear that he CANNOT BE BLOCKED by one player and can't be moved off the line of scrimmage even by two. His work against the run was awesome. But he's only in there for one or two plays at a time, with looooong breaks in between. And then he did his down-on-the-turf routine looking injured just like vs. San Diego. Only 20 of 54 snaps is frustrating. I hope he gets it together soon, because he definitely can be a difference maker.

I guess it really is a 4-3 defense now (even if primarily 2-gap).

The really interesting number here is Sergio Brown vs. James Ihedigbo. I noticed Ihedigbo a couple of times yesterday, being where he should be, running someone down, and otherwise playing well. Looks like Brown is now a backup and near the back of the truck.

It looked like he went down for a minute with a cramp. He went down to one knee with his other leg extended out in front and began pulling on his toe. His reaction was completely different this time from the SD game and he walked off on his own shortly after, so I don't think this was much of a big deal at all yesterday.

I saw him moving the DL forward a bit, but nothing more than that. Doesn't seem to have lateral movement at all. He doesn't seem to actually make any plays, but does move the line backward somewhat.

If that is what they want him for, then great. It just seems pretty one-dimensional and not overly effective.

So Arrington has officially replaced Bodden as CB #2?

So Cunningham has regressed since last year or is there just too much depth at his position for him to get snaps?

Impressed by Spikes and Guyton - these guys have to play big with Mayo out of the mix through the bye (minimum).

Shmess -- it was his lateral movement on wide running plays that impressed me. I was zeroing in on him and he did a great job of jamming up traffic while stringing plays out toward the sideline. But he'd be in there for one or two snaps and then it's back to the sideline.
