Decade of players "drafted" under BB and Pioli

Belichick took Parcells drafted guys here and his FA's from the Jets which made up the core. Lucked out on a 6th rnd draft pick in Brady.

Jury is still out on Belichick if he can win without extra videotape, but the jury has spoken on his drafting prowess, EPIC FAIL!

Pretty accurate. Pfeifer, Hamilton, Smith were ex-Jets. Plus he pillaged the Miami roster too in the 01 offseason.

Ridiculous. Go back and look at the drafts. He had some big misses but he hit on a number and made some excellent trades.

Agreed, but just mentioning that Faulk was drafted by the Patriots.

My bad. He's been with the Pats so long I forgot he was drafted before the BB era.

Parcells stormed out of the room after the Terry Glenn selection in 1996, and Bobby Grier selected Lawyer Milloy and Tedy Bruschi. Later Grier picked Kevin Faulk and Brandon Mitchell. Don't forget that Belichick also had to fork over 2 number one draft choices in his years here, one as ransom to the Jets (a totally bogus demand) and one for Spygate.

So, Parcells: McGinest, Ted Johnson, Ty Law, Troy Brown (four years of drafts)

Grier: Faulk, Bruschi, Milloy, Mitchell, Tebucky, Woody (four years of drafts)

Belichick: Seymour, Warren, Wilfork, Vrabel, Phifer, Tom Brady, Light, Neal, Koppen, Graham, Branch, Green, Givens, Patten, Samuel, Wilson, Harrison, Ted Washington (five years of drafts)

Smith, before being a Jet, though was a Patriot. I don;t think the previous poster was accurate at all. To say that the core of the Super Bowl teams were picked by Parcells is inaccurate.

I put Bru and Milloy in the Parcells draft (even though he walked out of the room when Krafty overruled him). Charley Armey was a Parcells guy and was in charge of college scouting. He practically set the draft board.

Yep on O-T-I-S. He knew the system w/ both the 96 team and the Jets.

Thank you. Amazing how this whole "Belichick can't draft" looks ridiculous when compared to other teams.

Wow, another know nothing thinking he should be a pro scout. Please take your analysis and go to whatever team you're really a fan of's board.

Excellent post, Deus.

Most teams have more misses than hits. Our incredibly spoiled fanbase need to realize that.

Sorry I don't sip the kool-aid, didn't realize this board is for homers only.

Thanks man! Sorry, I didn't know we had a loser piece of crap troll named "Chowda" in this thread. I will promptly put the mentally ******ed child on Ignore.

If you were surprised by the Steelers' recent drafts check out the past few drafts by the vaunted Chargers. it gets scary.

Check out his posts.

Every single one is insulting the Pats or declaring the Jets the model franchise of the NFL.

Should be banned for being a gimmick account.
