This thread is tasteless and crude...my idea of fun, so I'll play.

Jeff Goldblum-Erroneous news report came out last week. Maybe they know something.
Al Davis-The huge cheer you hear will be from all the Raider fans praying for this to happen.
Rep. Peter King- His political future that is. It's stupid to tick off Mischael Jackson fans, most of whom probably vote.

All good ones. Did you see Kim Jong Il recently? Looks like he aged 20 years in about 2.

Yes. Call me hard-hearted, but I don't feel that sorry for him either.

I saw that too. A friend of mine died of pancreatic cancer a few years ago -- that is one fierce disease.

Yes it is, and from what i understand there doesn't seem to be any symptoms, all of a sudden bang, you have it and its to late.

He had a kidney transplant. I'm pretty sure pancreatic cancer is untreatable. My aunt just died from it.

Artie Lange. I hope I'm wrong though because I think that guy is hilarious.

Yeah I knew that was the rumor. But, I thought it was recently disproved ( I thought Leo LaPorte said something to that effect). And that he only had the kidney transplant. I don't believe either he or Apple has ever given any details about his condition other than the usual "he is well". Who knows. There's certainly no doubt he had the transplant so we can only wish him the best and Apple should be striving to go on without him. A lot better than they did in the 90s I hope.

On a side note. When I was working for Apple if I had gone to the SoHo store opening the night before it opened to the public I would have met Steve. One guy I worked with went and he met him. I went the next day :(.
