I doubt what he said had much to do with this romp. If so, then that's pretty pathetic that you need bulletin board material to get motivated.

Nice. "My guy wasn't being stupid, but even if he was it is more a reflection on your guys than ours."

Smith was an idiot to say anything. He and his team have been unable to back up his words. He's the pathetic one.

Brady jawing with him after the second TD tells us all we need to know. They heard him, and they're happy to respond on the field.

He's not my guy, but ok. I'm saying it's pathetic to need outside criticism like that to get motivated for a game. Shouldn't they be able to get motivated on their own? I guess not.

Your right, but theres nothing wrong with a little extra someting to get riled up about. Brady's already give him a bit of sh!t I think so it shows it's on the mind somewhere.

Don't beat up on Smith... he was misquoted...

He didn't "guarantee a win" he guaranteed "tin" - which apparently is lingo in the Steel City for a mediocre to bad performance.

And in fact it turns out he's a man of his word.

Can we thank him for being a terrible safety?

BB in the postgame press conference :

"I tell ya, we've played against a lot better safties than him."

LOL!!!! That's about as big a shot as you'll ever hear the coach take.

Hahaha, BB just slammed Smith in his press conference. "I think Rodney said it best, but yeah, we've played much better safeties than him."

I think we can agree that it did mean something to them.

You most definitely may. The whole secondary was pretty terrible.

Shouldn't you be watching your Colts beat up on a team the Pats softened up last week?
