ESPN.com is now reporting that the Adam Vinatieri has received an offer that is a multi-year deal with a signing bonus of $3.5 million. According to the report there is still some work to be done on the contract, but it could be completed by Tuesday night.

They got him for ONLY a 3.5 million signing bonus? Jeez, this is worse than I thought.
 
That's what he wanted. How much other money and for how many years? This story is drip, drip, drip.

the pats wouldve matched but we wont know because they never deal in the media.not letting the pats of the hook but we never know what discussions went on and if adam even wanted to be here. the fact that he changed agents showed his desparation today to get out of new england.
