Just named best Tight End of the week by Fox Sports

Showed some flashes of being a good Fauria replacement* and possible upgrade. Let's see if he can continue to contribute.
Nice job, rook!

* OK, I admit he DOES need work on falling down at the point of reception

he can be a jason whitten i think instead of fauria..

It was nice to finally see what the FO saw when they drafted him in the third round. Felger noted in his article that his blocking skills are up there. I'd kind of thought they'd been improving, but wasn't considering them that high just yet.

Either way, I was thinking to myself what a christmas present David Thomas is for Tom Brady! Perfect game to break out in. Hopefully they can get him matched up on a slower LB more often and get some passes going his way. He can definitely catch the ball, thats for sure.

The bigest complement you can give the kid is that he's reduced Pats fans' anxiety over Watson's injury.

If anyone still has the video clips of Thomas that was being posted after the draft, please re-post. Watch that once and you'll see that Sunday was no surprise.
