Andruzzi was an undrafted Free Agent, so no one can really blame him for taking the money. Cleveland (i.e. Romeo) really overpaid for him.

I don't blame Andruzzi - probably his one big contract - and Romeo needs to win now

I've just added Britt. As someone pointed out, we have him through his ERFA years. We also have two guards on the Practice Squad. Yates is being paid $425,000. I don't expect him to picked up by anyone else. Stevenson is rook that should be part of the future. That's TEN offensive linemen at least through 2008!!!! And THREE tight ends!!

It is even more impresseive if you include
RB - Dillon (2009)
RB - Faulk (2009)
QB - Cassell (2008)
OT - Britt (2008) including the two ERFA years when he has no options
Perhaps I should list Faulk at WR. We then would have a complete offense.

So, if I got this correct the following are signed for:

QB - Tom Brady (2010)
RB - Laurence Maroney (2010)
TE - Ben Watson (2009)
WR - Chad Jackson (2009)
LT - Matt Light (2010)
LG - Logan Mankins (2009)
OC - Dan Koppen (2010):
RG - Stephen Neal (2009)
RT - Ryan O'Callaghan (2009)

LT/RT - Nick Kaczur (2009)
OG/OC - Russ Hochstein (2008)
TE - David Thomas (2009)
TE - Garrett Mills (2009)

That's pretty darn impressive :singing: :singing: :singing: :singing:

This is great news. He's a great player and he's worked hard to get his big payday. He could have gotten a lot more, but he chose to stay here. What a terrific kid. Congrats to him and the Pats.

See, I think it truly is a 5 year extension. Which would make it only 1.25 million per year against the cap. But, as I said, until the specifics come out, or are posted on the NFLPA, we won't know what the true affect is.

Seems that it is a true 5 year extension. Sweet. I'm glad that Dan and the rest of the youngsters are going to have a LONG time to work together. Having continuity on the line is HUGE.
