    Nope ,That's the Scholars Translation of Luke 6:24-26, and the speaker is Jesus of Nazareth.

    Good to see class warfare us alive and well, wherever it's from. I'm not a religious person but I have a difficult time believing that's translated accurately.

    Keep in mind whoever wrote Luke's gospel was a little more oriented to the poor and downtrodden than was the norm. I also think there were some liberties taken.

    That it was from an editorial or whatever they're called at KOS makes me wonder.

    Like I said I don't know the bible too well :)

    I love how the article frames it in a "what Obama's minister said was almost biblical" kind of way.

    A mistranslation of the bible? What a shocker!! LMAO!!!

    It's actually amazing how much the bible has been mistranslated or intentionally altered since it was originally written. The whole book as it is now written should be taken with a grain of salt, because it is far different from what was originally written.
