Imagine working your a$s off for years to save money up so your kid can get a good education and live a comfortable life with their family and then have that Kid run into a Teacher like this Left Wing Liberal stinking skunk.

AMERICA NOW DSPERATELY NEEDS PRIVATE EDUCATION YOUR CHILD IS BEING BRAINWASHED BY VERMIN SOCIALIST ANTI AMERICAN PIGS

    News Today:
ORONO, Maine - A University of Maine student alleges her former professor offered extra credit to class members if they burned the American flag or the U.S. Constitution or were arrested defending free speech.

As the article said, the professor was teaching about the courage it takes to stand up for the first amendment, so apparently provided examples where courage would be required and where he would give extra credit:

"In his e-mail Friday, Grosswiler ... explained that he refers to provocative examples, such as flag burning, to demonstrate the courage necessary to support free expression.

'If they don’t tolerate thought that they hate, they don’t believe in the First Amendment,' he wrote.

'I applaud the student’s exercise of free expression. If she had stayed in the class, I would have given her extra credit for publicizing her opinions.'"

Smart move. A conservative Republican cousin of mine has a daughter who just graduated from a feminist studies program in, I think it's called, the New College, one of those what Harry would call loony liberal colleges. My cousin's only worry is what can she possibly do with that degree.

IIRC BB turned his degree in Economics [no salary cap minor:( ] into absolute dominance over the NFL. At the very least that girl's got a diploma. To an extent having a degree is like not being a minority or female in the 60's or 70's

The key to success today, after getting the mandatory degree in something, appears to be a willingness to intern for of course, no pay. This is why I get a kick out of old timers who grumble about 'these lazy kids today.' I'll guarantee there's lots of old, grumpy bank presidents complaining about the interns at the opposite end of their job ladders, when you know damn well that Mr President's 1st job in the industry was a paid one.
