jets finally announced what dabolls official position will be with the team
HEMPSTEAD, NY – The New York Jets announced the following additions and changes to their 2007 coaching staff: Mike MacIntyre was named Secondary Coach; Dan Quinn was named Defensive Line Coach; Brian Daboll was named Quarterbacks Coach; Sal Alosi was named Head Strength and Conditioning Coach; Jerome Henderson was named Assistant Secondary Coach in addition to his current responsibilities as Director of Player Development; Denny Marcin was signed to a contract extension as a Defensive Assistant Coach. The moves were announced by Head Coach Eric Mangini.
Daboll joins the Jets after seven seasons with the New England Patriots (2000-06), the last five coaching the Patriots’ wide receivers. Daboll started with the Patriots on the defensive side of the ball, after working as a Graduate Assistant at Michigan State (1998-99).
