Best part of the deal was that they sent him to a specialist to see if he could have experimental vowel-grafting surgery. If it succeeds, he'll be Matt Sezacazur.

that's cute but the first time i read it, i read it as experimental bowel surgery and i was wondering how that's a good thing. thankfully i read it a second time.
 
Too bad.

Sort of a Faulk type - although he missed half the games or so, he put up about 500 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving. Bigger Woodhead.

As someone wrote about the difference Szczur made to 'Nova's team:

“In the games he missed, their offensive line blocked kind of just okay,” Graham explained. “But once he returned, it was like everybody realized he was back there, and they didn’t want to let him down.

“And suddenly, their O-line was like, ‘Hey, we’re going to go kill people.'"
