Cris Carter goes after Jerry Rice

This is a serious question, but was Rice a good blocker? Because if all he did was run and catch, I'd have a hard time calling him the best "football player" ever.

It's all subjective, but many consider him one of the better blocking WRs in history as well.

Rice is the most complete WR in the history of the game

By the way, these examples, plus the violations Denver has had more recently (taping another team's practice, having a player successfully bribe the person administering drug tests), are much more indicative of a "culture of cheating" that the Patriots get labeled with.

Before you try using that particular item against a hater, just remember who the Denver coach was when that happened and who is currently employing that coach.

You're right. That's the first thing Patriots haters will point out.

Then again, when McDaniels arrived in Denver, maybe he found that the organization had such a flagrant disregard for the rules (There was a story of them spying on Chargers practices when Shanahan was there), that he figured he could push the envelope beyond anything the Patriots had done. Maybe it was working for a team with a long history of cheating that led Josh astray. ;)
