Bingo. JMcD is just too damn smart to take this gig at this time.But this is the problem with the Oakland job. McD wouldn't have final say who he wants to pick. Reports are out that Davis and the set up there are all over Russell, so most likely they'd draft Russell if McD wanted him or not. Just say no Josh.

ESPN.com reports former Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Reeves said he is treating the upcoming East-West Shrine Game as an audition, and he hopes it could lead to his return to the NFL. "At the time that I was fired in Atlanta, I needed a break," Reeves said. "Twenty-three straight years as a head coach is very difficult. But as soon as I got enough golf played and started doing all those 'honey-do's,' I knew I was ready to get back in it...It's still in my blood. I think I can still coach." Reeves, 63, hasn't been a head coach since 2003, when he was fired by the Falcons
