Horrendously idiotic thread that reeks of.....

"Nah, nah....nah, nah....we won and you lost...nah, nah...my daddy can beat up your daddy in heaven!"

Again, no US citizen wins or loses in an election...never have and never will. Only the candidates win or lose....

But this is the childish level our society has aspired to I guess....

    Sort of off-topic, there, PR.

You don't have anything to say about how astounding it is to see Ann Coulter saying the Republican party should accede to the Democratic point of view?

I see this moment as pretty interesting, all nyah nyah nyah aside. The Republican party is caving rapidly on all things fiscal, and Ann seems to be perfectly fine with leading the charge (and lecturing Hannity on "we lost the election, Sean,") as she goes.

Did you notice last week Boehner explicitly saying revenue increases will come from the rich? He's just trying to hold onto the "but not from raising rates" point for some sort of symbolic face-saving gesture.

    Yeah, to me that's news.

Maybe you're one of these guys...

LOL That sounds suspiciously like "No one loses. Everyone gets a trophy," PR....something I know you're not usually in favor of.

The "Nattering Nabobs of Negativity" want everyone to win.. after life is really, really fair.

There are no losers, everyone is a winner, lets go get some ice cream and talk about how fair life is, and what we learned from today's tie game...

I don't know, I would posit that US citizens have been losing elections for decades, but...eh...:confused2:

Would it be more post-worthy if this was stated by Rush? We know that will not happen, but an outspoken conservative makes that proclamation on FOX News makes it worthy. Honestly, just watching this thing play out on the sidelines as Republicans either fold or defend. Happening right here on this forum with post election news. The analogy would be Miami players thread from the football forum (hint: there pissed too).

    That's "They're pissed too"...just as an fyi

I know both democrats and republicans who voted but I don't anyone who lost or won anything.

As voters, there are no winners or losers. You're an American, aren't you? You should already know this.

No, I'm in favor of "No one gets a trophy" when it comes to elections.

Politics is a process, not a contest.

LOL ... not in this forum ... actually it's more like war to some in here.

Republican congress and senate people are representing the people that voted them in.

If they don't represent why they were voted it ... they will be voted out.

The opposite party whichever it may be is not the enemy ... it's the democratic process working as it was meant to be ... not always pretty and not always efficient but it's better than most of the world.

That is quite a way of looking at it. "You're an American, aren't you" could be utilized in most threads as members disagree on fiscal policies and social issues. It is also ironic, as many Republicans were using that theme in opposition to Obama.
Yes, I do believe we won as a nation as Romney would have been a disaster as a President. This is not about both candidates suck, it is an either/or scenario. Reign, from your posts, I would say you have a really good feel for economics. Would we have a good economy today, had "ANY" politician won the Presidency 2009?
To a number of people, it does not matter what Obama does as he will never get it right. He takes a trip to New York City and is blasted for spending taxpayers money. Seriously, New York......... Hillary had it right, if Obama walked on water the GOP would say it was because he can't swim. He does not always get it right, but it would have been an epic failure to elect Mitt.
Did we win? Yes we did.

Nobody said Republicans were the enemy, only that they are the losers. This is a statement of empirical fact.

Who cares, it's over, we had a winner, we had a loser, ALL POLITICIANS ARE SCUM TRASH.

We will have another election in 2016 (if we haven't completely gone third world) that election in 2016 will be the same as the one just past, TWO GRINNING LYING SCUMBAGS TELLING US ABOUT ALL THE WONDERFUL THINGS THEY WILL DO FOR US, then the winner will stick it right up our ass.

Coulter will now be labeled a traitor or minimally a RINO...

She shalt be shunned by the inner circle along with Morris and Rove...

I wonder, righties: How do you feel about Coulter's conclusion? Should pubbies drop their "principles"? Or should they stick to them, like Hannity says?

Again, another progressive lie. Republicans lost the Presidency and the Senate. Republicans won the House of Representatives, the majority of Governor's seats, and a majority of the state legislatures.
