all these great unsigned 3-4 OLBs that the Pats will have a chance to sign?

hmm

Newman
Boulware
Green
Rogers
Caver

Vrabel can always move outside and we get an ILB. Boulware is my favorite off the list

This is what GBNreport had left on their "big board" for LBs whom I liked. Okay, so Brian Iwuh is my first pick to develop behind Rodney, but the rest would be okay at ILB or OLB since taking one would give BB more leeway with Vrabel - and yes, Roach has been signed by NE per Draftdaddy.

Brian Iwuh LB 6-1, 234 Colorado (SS)
Eric Henderson DE 6-2, 270 Georgia Tech
Fred Roach LB 6-2, 257 Alabama
Mike Kudla DE 6-2, 265 Ohio State
Oliver Hoyte LB 6-3, 245 North Darrell Adams DE 6-5, 277 Villanova
*Kai Parham LB 6-3, 255 Virginia
Brandon Guillory DE 6-4, 253 Louisiana-Monroe
Shomari Earls LB 6-2, 255 Florida Atlantic

There are any number of other prospects that were on my Master Board to consider, the thing is, your getting wound up way too soon partner. This draft went nothing like I planned, obviously NEM tapped my direct line to BB and sent in his offensive dream draft in place of my defensive wisdom.

at MLB theres
Chris Clairborne 6"3 255
Jamie Sharper 6"3 240
Earl Holmes 6"0 250
Orlando Ruff 6"3 253

Not sure that Newman could do it, but ok.

Doesn't Boulware have a bunch of injury issues? Its why I didn't list him.

By Green, do you mean Barrett Green? The guy is 6'0 225. no way he could be an OLB in the Pats 3-4.

Nick Rogers? Since he only played 3 games for the Dolphins, was he injured last year?

Caver? Hmm... Not sure he could do it. Guy only played 8 games last year. But ok.

dsfa

i didnt look that much into the players..as for Green..i looked at Shawn Barber accidently i think..sorry

yes Boulware had injury issues but hes the most experienced and versatile out of all them

Heres my personal grocery list

I wouldn't mind any of those guys. They're all more solid than Beisel, at least more solid than last year's Beisel. Claiborne might still have some upside, Sharper's real solid, and Holmes and Ruff have been above average.

This is the time now, after the draft, where we flip a 2007 pick to San Diego for Donnie Edwards, and problem solved.

This is what i'm hoping for, he still has a couple more years left and probably not cost too much. Fred Roach is also a possible replacement to Ted Johnson in the future, he's not so good in coverage but plays well against the run.

i think the sleeper FA is Sharper. He was a pro-bowler playing in the 3-4 for the Texans. Led the league in tackles in '03, he could be a good compliment to go with Colvin, Bruschi and Vrabel.

yeah but recent injuries and age are a concern
