1. The main reason BB couldn't stop Indy the last couple times WAS OUR OWN OFFENSE. Its been shown by titans and others that the best way to beat Indy is to have long controlled drives with the ball. Keep them off the field but still be productive and put points on the board yourself. we couldn't run the ball well enough last year to keep the chains/clocks moving. that killed us.

I agree wholeheartedly.

In the same vein, your current offense is not unstoppable, either. So yes, your defense can stop it. JUST LIKE OUR'S CAN (Chargers). On opening drives? Not likely. But over the course of a game? Heck yeah. Your defense; the Bears defense; the Ravens defense, and our defense could stop it -- IF the offenses kept from giving the ball back to your offense after 1, 2 or 3 plays (Forget about sustained drives -- how about 4 or 5 plays, before the defense has to go back out there?)

p.s. I was glad to see some humor on this thread and the references to SNL and Ditka. After reading the some of the posts on this board, I was beginning to wonder if Pats fans actually believed that BB was truly from a different planet -- a higher plane.

OMG this Forum has gone SNL before our very eyes. "who would win between Ditka and Spanish Armada?"

Isn't this like asking if God can create a stone that He cannot lift?
