As an avid poll watcher, I have observed with amusement the sudden reversal of fortune of Obama this past week.

The reason the Gallup poll has reversed itself this week is not because of the "economic crisis" as some would have you believe. It has reversed because the Gallup poll strategists have arbitrarily altered the party affiliation numbers.

They have injected poll points into Obama's numbers the same way the Fed injected money into AIG, to prevent a market meltdown due to loss of confidence.

The raw evidence of this meltdown, a hint at what is really taking place behind the scenes, is the panic emanating from the Dem loyalists, who are embarassing themselves with their tactics and public language.

Take heart, fellow Conservatives, if we stand together this Stalinist is cooked. Don't go wobbly now! to quote a middle class lady whom we admire.

The empty suit candidate has the easiest road to the White House in modern times ... and still he flounders ... the suit is empty and America gets it.

Got any links to prove you're hypothesis? I think this election is going to be nip & tuck the whole way through. We could even see a scenario where the winner of the popular vote, loses the electoral college. Even more amazing, we could see a landslide that is actually a close race. For example, with so many state polls within the margin of error, one candidate could potentially win 8 battlegrounds by 1 percentage point. It would mean 300+ EC's for one side, and a landslide, but yet, a virtual tie in votes. Crazy, crazy, crazy...

He can't be an empty suit ... the analogy is flawed. Thanks to Bush he has an extremely tough road to the White House and he is bucking the odds because many people belive in his ideas and loyalty to country.

By all accounts Obama should be winning this by at least 10% yet he is not ... empty suit analogy works.

That's entirely possible. He could lose by 50 too, which wouldn't surprise me in the least. McLame is a genuinely flawed guy. When I look at him, I simply don't see a man that is qualified to be president. I don't look at him and feel comfortable with the idea of him holding the job. I actually feel more comfortable with BO in that sense, since I think he's smarter than McLame, but his (Obam-uh's) policies and positions mortify me to no end. What a bizarre election. The smarter guy scares the bejesus out of me, and the other is someone I'm not sure is made for the job. We're so fukced, and a lot of people don't even know it.

One thing I do know, is I won't be voting for either one. I refuse to contribute to the election of someone I don't believe in.

I heard something about this today on one of the news channels as well. I don't really care either way though, polls don't mean much at this point in time. Bring on the first debate!

No problem there ... if BO loses perhaps a very qualified black woman like
Condi Rice will run ... and I'll support her. DC needs more woman and less men.
