There were none of the premier three #1's on the DL and no Vrabel. And yes, it looked alot like 2003 and 2004.
Did Belichick force Pees to watch old films or did he just draw up the game plan himself? It was great to see everyone standing until the last second. It was great to see everyone put in a position to do great. And it was great to see a group of OK players look great.
Special kudos go out to Banta-Cain and Wright. They were outstanding! The rest just did their jobs. And to Brace: welcome to the NFL! Brace did fine. He drew double teams and made some rookie mistakes. He wasn't Wilfork, but he was a reasonable NFL NT, whihc is high priase for a rookie in his first significant reps.

And yes, I know it was the Bills. The real monkey on the patriots' back had nothing to do with other teams. It had to do with their own game plans.
