I'll admit that I kinda expected this. All week I had this feeling that it was finally Mannings time, finally the Colts time to get over the hump. So I guess in a way the loss is easier for me to swallow, though the 21-3 lead we lost makes it a lot tougher. I am happy for their fans. I haven't been on this board during the week and I don't know how the fans have acted but I'm certain that they don't represent the entire fan base. Down here in Texas I have several friends that are Colts fans. I've seen what they've gone through over the years having so much hope every single season just to see it come crashing down every time. I know what it feels like to be on the losing end but certainly not the same way a Colts fan has. So yeah, no matter how some may act, I'm happy for the fans. I'm happy for Peyton, he's heard so much for so long about his "legacy" and now he gets a chance to finally shut everyone up. Enjoy it Colts fans, it's a great feeling that we Pats fans have been very fortunate to feel very often this decade. Hopefully we'll feel it again soon.
