Concern for Rodney
The Patriots practiced indoors yesterday. Unlike last week, it wasn’t a full pads workout. Missing were tight end Stephen Spach (knee) and cornerback Antwain Spann (hamstring).
Limited in participation for injury reasons were safety and special teams player Willie Andrews (elbow), fullback Kyle Eckel (stomach), safety Rodney Harrison [stats] (thigh), tackle Nick Kaczur (foot) and guard Stephen Neal (shoulder).
Of particular note and perhaps concern, during the media viewing portion of practice, trainers worked on Harrison’s leg while the team stretched. When drills began, Harrison, who figures to be key figure in shutting down the Jaguars run on Saturday, walked off the field.
