I assume you mean on the road. No biggie, 2 of the last 4 should be easy and it just means that we have a lot more home games in the first 12 (7 out of 12) to clinch the division early.

Excellent schedule!

Only one Monday nighter (I play softball on Monday nights, so I hate when the Pats play on MNF...)

Two definite trips to Florida (@Miami, @ Jax)with a possible 3rd trip (playoffs @ Miami - I know, I know - it's a longshot) and a possible 4th trip (Super Bowl @ JRS! - A much better bet!)

I believe I have finalized my road trips for this year:

1. Jacksonville - always a great place to watch a game with the maxwell House plant next door making the whole neighborhood smell like on big cup of coffee!

"Hey, honey, you know where I hear is really nice on Christmas Eve? Jacksonville. We can stay on the Radisson on the St. John's river and take romantic strolls along the Riverwalk..."

"What? I didn't know the Pats were playing there that day? What a coincedence!"

2. New Year's Eve in Nashville to watch Belichick shut down Givens and the Titans!

"Hey, honey, I was reading about how nice Nashville and the Grand Ol' Opry does New Year's Eve. We could stay at the Gaylord Resort and do New Year's in Nashville?"

"What? I didn't know the Pats were playing there that day? What a coincedence!"

3. @ Green Bay and Lambeau Field!

"Hey, honey, why don't we do Thanksgiving up at my sister's house in Racine, WI?"

"What? I didn't know the Pats were playing there the Sunday before Thanksgiving? What a coincedence!"

Make sure you get a picture of Givens shaking hands with Brady with Givens saying "Good luck in the playoffs, man, get lots of rest in your bye week".

Yes, but look where they are...

Two warm weather games in Miami & Jax and one fair weather game in Nashville...

We'll beat the Titans, and we'll probably beat the Fish...

We'll end up 4-1 in December...

We probably won't even need to win the Titan game. I wonder how Cassel will do vs. Tenessee ? :rocker:

It was a tight battle, but out of respect to ADPF, I will bump this thread rather than create a sarcastic thread asking if anyone had seen the schedule yet...

I like this schedule a lot more than last year's - and while a 2/2 road/home split would have been nice, one needs to toughen up at that time of the year.

I'm just not feeling like Jacksonville, Tennesse and Houston are playoff teams this year - though Miami could be in position to compete for a wildcard.

Overall I think this is a fair and well balanced schedule - no real tough breaks like a road game at Miami in early September (or as far as Miami is concerned, a late December game in NE)

Awesome. I will be able to drive down to Cincinnati for Pats-Bengals, and can get tickets from my Lions contact to go to my first Pats' game in Foxboro! WooHoo!!!:D :D :D

one thing stands out - monday night at minnesota with a short week rest and then indy on sunday night

It is what it is, nothing pops out at me that is significant, certainly better than the first half of last year. Miami in December..

Playing Cincy early is good because of the iffyness of Palmer that soon.

I was thinking of driving down from Pittsburgh for that game..also planning on Buffalo and maybe Nashville.

Nashville is probably a stretch, but Cincy works out awesome for me. The only Michigan game I won't be going to is the game @ Minnesota the day before, and my old roommate from college lives in Cincy, so I will just go down there Friday, watch the Michigan game with him Saturday, and go to the Pats game Sunday, and then drive back home. Then, the Lions game is in December, which is perfect because there's no college football I'll miss, and I can get free tickets to FINALLY get to Gillette. I am beyond excited now.

Sounds great!! I have not made the pilgrimage to Gillette for a game..been to the old Sullivan Stadium. My parents live about 30 miles NNW of Gilette.

I think some of the Murphy's guys were thinking about Cincy as a possible road trip.

I have not made one, either. I did make the trip to Pittsburgh for the 04 AFCCG, and it was just unreal. I came close, when I got married in 03, we went to NYC on the honeymoon, and then drove up to Boston. Stayed in Quincy, went to Gillette on Friday, picked some gear up in the Pro Shop, chatted with Tommy for a while, and planned on going to the game on Sunday. But the blizzard hit, and we had to drive back to Michigan early for work. I was pissed. I've never forgiven myself, especially since I resigned from that job 2 months later. I missed this:
