You didn't consider that other teams will have comp. picks too.

    There are other teams?:D

That is correct, guess we'll have to wait until the entire draft order is published.

But the players themselves can be, can't they? Perhaps that's a loophole worth exploiting?

Regardless it seems to me if there's one team that doesn't need 10 draft picks its the Patriots.

Even with their "own" picks I can see them trading up in the middle rounds to grab guys they want or trading them down for better draft position next year.

trade some of the tradeable day two picks and get the best you can on day one because you don't have room for all those rooks unless you want to draft a bunch throw them against the wall and see what sticks.

    Congrats to AdamJT13...on the money!!!
Yes..they do NOT need 10 picks...so I might think that a few..may go..in some way..10 players too many...so I would hope 2-3 picks might be gone..but who knows..given there are almost 70 players all ready to go now...

I am really excited. It looks like the Colts made out better than any other team. We did a round better than the guy on KFFL predicted with both Thornton and Tripplett. I've been saying for weeks that this may be the most important thing that would happen this offseason, and it went well for the Colts. Those rounds will be great to get a RB, LB, etc.
