Please share any thoughts on TE workouts, etc.
I was surprised Pettigrew only had 22 reps. Being the biggest TE at the combine I would think it would have been higher. Kind of goes along with my line of thinking that he is going to have a bad combine and probably fall into the late 1st maybe 2nd round. Espeically if he runs a slow 40.
the pats should just track down chris baker........given the other offensive talent the pats have, getting a decent blocker who is a viable target is all this team needs
Jared Cook just ran a 4.42. He looked positively EXPLOSIVE coming out of his stance. Color me intrigued.
A buddy who lives for his Gamecokks says he's much better than Spurrier's limp biscuit QBs would allow.
Shawn Nelson u4.53
Bear Pascoe u4.97
John Philips u4.77
Kory Sperry u4.69, but at 238 he's sliding on my board.
Pettigrew looked awful there. The commentators were saying he looked effortless, he looked to me like he was straining.
James Casey u4.71/4.72
Jared Cook u4.42/4.49 strained his left hammy, hopefully not a pull.
Some things about him..
Older than the others. Married. 3.84 GPA with Multiple Majors..
Cook with a 4.45 to back up his earlier 4.42, along with the 41" vertical. Looking real good for him. I wonder if he's another Watson type though, since the rap on him is that he can make the spectacular catch but loses concentration and flubs the routine catches at times.
Morrah u4.59/4.62 looked good as a blocker against USC.
Shawn Nelson u4.53/4.55
Bear Pascoe u4.99 on his second
Pettigrew u4.97, bad start.
He had a nice showing there. Pettigrew, on the other hand, just ran a 5.0 forty. Ugly.
