Combine Talk: Offensive Line

J. Smith at 5.14 and 5.20 in the 40. Solid result for a guy his size. Shipley, another guy I like, put up a 5.19 and a 5.26, a little slower than I thought he might run. Both guys looked relatively smooth running, for offensive linemen anyway.

My favorite part was when Rich Eisen interrupted a serious discussion to let us know that Herman Johnson was the heaviest baby in the history of Louisiana, at 15.14.

I wonder how these linemen feel getting beat on the bench by a kicker. A kicker!

Anybody have a list showing which side the guards played at ,, left vs right??

Or which side the centers have switched out to?

Might provide some insight into these future Patriots.

Levitre was a swing tackle who also took swing guard reps. Canfield has played both sides, but was the RG as a Senior. Urbik played RG & RT. Robinson and Johnson were both LGs. Green was a LG. That's the top 6...

Unger's position versatility, mobility and effectiveness in run blocking and pass blocking makes him a great potential future Patriot.

I do hope BB can get this kid in the draft.
