Thanks to all that repect me even though I'm a Colts fan.

I do have one issue with ManningOverraterHick. I wrestled a bit with this one. I wasn't sure to do with a private message I received from him. I have decided to be open about it, so it I am posting it below. I apologize in advance to those that think I should keep it to myself.

So Manning, I came to the conclusion that if you are going to call me out and throw punches at me that you need to do it in public. That way people know the "whole story" if they see a way that I react to you.




I am generally pretty civil. So I will limit my response to you to four words and then I'm done.

You are an idiot.


Now I'll step back into my normal behavior.

Even Patriots fans can be trolls. If someone in this thread should be banned, its the guy that started it. I don't go to IndyStar, to many Colts fans like the guy that started this thread.

You're right, you're okay too. I think I hold back on you because I see your post on the Star and some are a bit nasty. But, it's your house, you can say what you want!

Yeah I do get a little crazy sometimes but its normally only when Im provoked, I have tried to tone it down some lately because pissing matches don't get us anywhere, we have some really good pats fans on the star that I hope never leave.

If it were to be moved or deleted right off, those who would have read it might have thought that this was how most posters here felt. Now, it's clear we do not.

I myself enjoy good football talk and you just can't get that at indystar anymore even if you are a colts fan the other colts fan blame each other for being pats fans. Or whatever team you happen to comment on doing something that isn't the colts. Im sorry but i get sick of reading 500 posts about did marvin fart today its kinda ridiculous.

I'm one of the guys who was banned from IndyStar for life. I challenge of you that are members of that site to look at my post history and tell me there was good reason for banning.

That site has zero tolerance. This site has quite a bit.

Sorry if I singled out the wrong people, but go on any Colts board and it's essentially an anti-Pats forum, then when any Pats fan chimes in, they're harassed or harassed until they're banned.

My hatred for Manning, Dungy, Polian and everything Colts goes beyond any hatred I've ever felt for the Yankees or any other sports team. I respect Torre (he's not there anymore obviously), Jeter, A-Rod and the Yankees as opponents. I have no respect for a quarterback that teabags innocent nurses and gets away with it and throws his offensive line under the bus when he loses a playoff game; a holier-than-thou coach that says "God prepared him for the Super Bowl by making his team have to come back against the Patriots"; and an owner that changes any rule to favor his own team and has the refs in his pocket.

Watching that team win last year was more painful than getting a finger wave.

I couldn't agree more. My hatred for the Colts is beyond comprehension. I have more respect for the gum stuck to the bottom of my shoe than the Colts or their fans. I couldn't reduce my self to go to any Colts board. The day i do will be the day i die.

No, you're essentially right. Those who defend workhorse and the others just have selective memories, and anyway, most of the trolls don't bash the pats as much as some of the Pats fans.

This is a terrific site for news, but to say anything positive about the Pats, or counterpoint anything negative, is to risk a gangbang attack of slathering, slobbering wild-eyed internegators (including mods) charging you with being a homer (their word for a fan).

The fact that you can't even object to trolls here without a moderator moving your post to where they should be moving all the trolls posts by the rules tells you all you need to know.

Exactly. Like I said, I'm sorry if I singled out the wrong people, and I'm probably more mad at the Indy fans on indystar and the other boards, but what I don't like is everyone jumping on me. Like HomerGreg said, the comments I made are nothing compared to the comments about the Patriots at Indystar. One poster compared Bill Belichick's "cheating" to Michael Vick and the dog-fighting scandal.

I'm sorry to Workhorse and Speed for calling them out in private messages, but it doesn't change the way I (and most fans here, whether you admit it or not) think about the Colts and most of their fans.

I hate the Colts but have come to respect them more this year. I'm as big a homer as there is on the planet.

But, there are some good Colts fans who post here and don't engage in trollish behavior.

what name did you use on indystar? if you used a name like this, I could imagine why they didn't treat you very good, it would be like me signing up here with a name like Bradyoverratedhick, I am sure I would be welcome with opened arms if I did that.

seriously were all just fans of our favorite teams, we root for different teams but that doesn't mean we all can't have a civil conversation once in awhile.

It may be commendable that we allow a diversity of opinions, especially compared to other teams boards, but it does open up a Pandora's Box.

I'd prefer to have a board that was split where one could post with other teams fans in one section and post with the home team crowd in the main section... but...it is what it is.

I'm strange, I enjoy some trolls. Not the vulgar ones like the guy from Pittsburgh who posted porn pics all over this site, but the ones who stir up heated debate. I think I like getting pissed off now & then
