Is the poor play of the Colt special teams indicative of a lack of depth? We're about to find out how some of the not-quite-up-to-it Colt special teamers fare in more regular roles.

Polian's approach has been to pay the stars and fill out the roster with the best Craphonso available. As injuries mount, it will be interesting to see how the middle and bottom of the Colts roster bears up under the bright lights.

So far, we've seen not much production and a lot of excuses.

Ya think? The Colts know their depth is paper-thin. That is how they manage their cap. If they can manage their injuries, they can be successful. They have been amazingly injury-free over the last several years. It doesn't seem like a good long-term plan, but they have their championship.

Injuries to key players are killer to the Colts. Now we are seeing the results.

The colts have a poor kicker, one that rarely reaches to end zone. This really hurts the coverage teams.

They just double tackled the the Colts defender because nobody can hear the whistle.
