Sen. Obama needs to talk with his colleagues in the House. Apparently they are not on the same page.

IN reality the Congress & the Prez. does not want the average Joe to know how the money is spent by Congress and the executive branch, if they truly knew all the details, back door deals and how influence peddlars are really in charge there would be a major revolution in this country.

If a full investigation into the Iraq war funding votes vs $$$ doled out by Bush to garner those votes was ever made ... a whole bunch of democrats would have alot of explaining to do. To be fair many republicans probably guilty of the same thing but voting for your party is to be expected.

Many people are always blasting a well deserving Bush for his Iraq war. But, if you go back to the beginning and the parameters that were set up you would find some safeguards were put in place. Such as the reporting to Congress every so many months as to the progress of the then war.

I doubt we will ever see it because that menas they are investigating themselves ... but many enabling democrats and republicans would get bounced out of office which would be the 2nd best thing to happen after Bush is finally gone.

What's this??!!! Republicans calling for spending reform via controlling earmarks?!! And it came last summer?!! Long before Obama got on board the bandwagon?!! Wow!!! That's great!! Maybe Obama should run as a Republican!!! Nancy Pelosi and her other Dem colleagues sure don't like anything to do with controlling spending, certainly not according to this report.

    Whaddya know!
