Uh Oh....... The Russians are chiming in now.

This comes on top of CHINA'S recent revelation that there is virtually NO CHANCE for reaching an operational accord.

Wow, Nopenhagen has been a colossal failure for the Church of Global Warming.

Wait, this is probably no big deal, right guys.

I'm certainly not going to accept the claim at face value considering the source: the "Moscow-based Institute of Economic Analysis (IEA)".

What is Russia's major source of wealth? Yeah.

Actually Russia has a lot of carbon credits to seel. This is not the first time the AGW alarmist have been caught modding the Russian data to try to make tmeps look warmer than they were. More Fraud but the true believers can't face the facts.

Just because I don't accept something at face value without knowing more about it? Yeah, that's the lamest rejoinder I've ever seen on this forum of lame rejoinders. Pathetic, pathetic effort.

Actually the sense i get from this joke of a conference is GOD DAMN CAPITALIST! There goal seems pretty clear after listening to the reaction of the crowd after Chavez spoke. This conference is more about finishing this country off and draining every last dollar from it then anything else IMO!

Last i checked we are not the only country who burns fossil fuel for energy. We are a country though with regulations and a country who invest in developing technology and green energy, something many of these dictators like Chavez cant say along with many other developed countries!

While we have enacted new rules and regulations other countries basically turn a blind eye, and now they come to this festival of idiots to blame a single country for the worlds problems. This is not a conference about finding solutions, it's a conference to blame the rich kid and try and rip off his wallet.

I really wish we had a president with a back bone to go to this little finger pointing conference and tell all of them to #@#@ off! Myself nor does any member of this country owe the rest of the world a god damn thing, period end of discussion! You want to start talking solutions I'm all for it, you want to only talk about what the united states and it's people owe the rest of the world you can go pound sand!

Putting our economy in the hands of Chavez fans | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog

" President Chavez brought the house down.

When he said the process in Copenhagen was “not democratic, it is not inclusive, but isn’t that the reality of our world, the world is really and imperial dictatorship…down with imperial dictatorships” he got a rousing round of applause.

When he said there was a “silent and terrible ghost in the room” and that ghost was called capitalism, the applause was deafening.

But then he wound up to his grand conclusion – 20 minutes after his 5 minute speaking time was supposed to have ended and after quoting everyone from Karl Marx to Jesus Christ - “our revolution seeks to help all people…socialism, the other ghost that is probably wandering around this room, that’s the way to save the planet, capitalism is the road to hell....let’s fight against capitalism and make it obey us.” He won a standing ovation."

Give Chavez credit he is honest unlike the rest of the AGW establishment. This has always been about left wing politics and not science.

    WTF?!?!

Wow, that absolutely solidifies my position. It certifies my belief that this entire shirade of an issue is one giant ponzi scheme. I read somewhere that African nations were demanding 5% of western GDP! WTF is that?!?:confused::eek: Even better, after all that diarea we were being fed about China, they were only willing to play along if their goals were unverifiable. LOLOLOLOL!!!! I told you sukcers that China was anything but a fool. Claim to follow along, and do nothing, as the west implodes itself. What a bunch of dumb ***** on this planet.

There are lots of people like you that are coming to this realization. Climategate got people looking at some of the data models and now there are some real irregularities that are showing up that are setting off alarm bells. Not that there hasn't been some warming over the last century, but the reason for, and the extent are now in GREAT questions.

One of the main pattern seen over and over is the homogenization process for the data and # and locations of data stations. Talk about cherry-picking. HERE IS A FAIRLY GOOD rundown of how stuff gets manipulated (disclaimer: News commentary site). It breakdowns the manipulation of data well.

Not that that'll stop those out to KILL CAPITALISM. Obama's doing his part too. HE'S OFFERED 30 BILLION A YEAR IN REPARATIONS for our past "climate sins". That's right, the guy that just yesterday said that our country would go bankrupt if we didn't pass health care just pledged 30B a year to developing countries (India, China Africa). That 30B will escalate to 100B by 2020.

It's a big scam............ But if it makes you feel better, here's the Goracle READING A LITTLE POETRY to make you feel better eating this sh!t sandwich.

Right. I'm sure the agenda of most climate scientists is to "KILL CAPITALISM." Gotcha.

Nothing revealed in "Climategate" undermines the consensus surrounding climate change.

No, the scientific arm is in it for the $$. The cult of GLOBAL WARMING is huge. It started purely 25 years ago, and the science is there to show that there has been warming over the last 100 year. The movement got highjacked about 15 years ago, once it started to get legs and the academic $$ started coming in. Now there are entire institutions (churches, if you will), taking in MILLIONS and BILLIONS of academic money. To keep it flowing, they have to demonstrate not only that the problem exists, but that its accelerating at unprecedented levels. Entire livelihoods depend on it.

The lefty anti-capitalist jumped on board to make this a political issue. Now, it's become a mechanism to push that agenda. Obama is willing to put the economy at further risk (i.e. cap & trade, etc...).

Even you can't believe your last statement. I know you have to cling to that line, but you can't honestly believe that.

But what makes up that evidence............. Data dispersed from only a few central agencies, and there is a general appearance that 1 of these, homogenized raw data in favorable ways to use for their "proof". They conveniently tossed the raw data out so it's not available. Additionally, data stations used has been shrinking in # over the years. The much older data is derived from many, many stations in both populated and remote areas. As we move towards recent times, those stations are reduced in # and now are favoring the more populated (and theoretically hotter) urban stations, while limiting and omitting data from the most remote data stations, where temperatures are likely more free of human interference. This was suspected and confirmed in the "climate-gate". Russian has now confirmed that this happened to their stations too.

    from my linked article;

Science is based on DATA. Without pure data, the science is DEAD. The stuff we're talking about comes from the main data clearinghouses. NOAA, NASA, CRU. etc... That's why it's big deal. This is not debunking 1-2 scientists, this is speaking to the credibility of the data used.

Besides, even if there is generalized warming (and I believe there is), the extent and its ramifications are less clear to me.
