Agreed. I loved MTV in the early 80s but, I can't recall the last time I watched anything on MTV.

Why don't you have a seat? Take a seat.

Seriously, why doesn't anybody that gets caught just ball up their fist, stick Chris Hanson in the face, then walk outside with their hands up and lay down on the floor for the cops? Now THAT would be great television.

Yeah I like Cops too. Especially when I was working a split shift. I like watching Cops at 2 AM. I've caught TCAP a few times. The perps are so incredibly stupid.

The reason why I don't like Cops or TCAP is because they prey on the worst traits of people by encouraging the sadistic enjoyment of other people's suffering. People convince themselves that they are watching it for some kind of informative news value when in fact it's just about the sickest form of entertainment. Yes they should be in jail but no I don't like watching these poor bastards hit rock bottom. I also don't like these networks tricking people into feeling self-righteous when all they are watching this exploitive crap.

Who have you ever heard say that Cops is informative in any way? To me a circus or zoo full of abused and caged wild animals is the sickest form of entertainment.

2 good picks. I use to love the Daily Show until the king limousine liberal turned it into his own bully pulpit. I still like Colbert though.

Yeah it turned for me after 9/11. He became much more politically aware, which is fine, but I just didn't find it interesting or humorous. The act got old as well. And yes, Colbert is amazing. What a genuinely funny guy with a great show. True comedian.
