Crawler on the MNF game reports
that Clarett plea bargains
to a minimum 3 1/2 year prison term.
Aggravated robbery ... etc.
Ugh!

i wish i could feel bad for him but he has had so many chances in life. Perhaps prison will give him a chance to change his life. What a sad waste of talent.

Look on the bright side. He'll be paroled in April of 2010. Just in time for Denver to pick him in the first round.

Too late. Bengals just signed him to their Practice Squad . . . he'll be wearing stripes in the off season for the next 3 1/2 years though.

Wasn't the robbery over a cellphone? Dam.

Yeah but the plea deal includes the new charges when he ran from the police where he was stopped 2 blocks from the main witness in the robbery(and heading in that direction when he made the uturn with the cop behind him)...oh yeah and with 4 loaded guns including a AK47 and wearing a bullet proof vest. 3 1/2 years is too short for this guy. As far as the Bengals he might even be to much for them....they all seem to get away with probation several times over and he gets prison time...he obviously didn't study the "playbook".
