Here's what happened in the hunt for bin ladin in 2001.
Well this group had been established during the Clinton administration in 1996 and aparently hadn't accomplished much in the last 10 years. Maybe turn the job over to military intel.
Do you think in this mission, that the request for U.S. troops to help block escape paths of bin laden, being denied is acceptable?
What about this guy?
The Looney Lefty Sore Losers want the whole CIA shut down, "THEY OFFEND OUR ENEMY'S ALL OVER THE WORLD"
Liberals in Cambridge won't have Cable TV in their homes they think the CIA is watching them through their TV Sets :singing:
"Hey, whack job liberals", "look under your bed tonight, there might be an FBI Agent under there". :rocker:
"Hey Gore people that ride bikes, look under your bicycle seat there may be a CIA Bug under there"
Has Cindy Sheehan started her "hunger strike yet" Susan Sarandon "skipped lunch"
All the Whacko's are going Whacky, Bush is driving them insane, Uncle Teddy's liver is shrinking. :bricks:
Your not supposed to drink turpentine harry
Actually the funniest thing I've ever heard was some right wing nut explaining how the CIA has all these recalcitrant Clinton hires still on board, which is why they continually assessed Iraq as not a danger to the U.S. and not in bed with terrorists. It cracked me up... I was quoting from published CIA reports and he was saying how it was all biased and left wing.
(Keep that around for the next embarassing moment, Harry.... it's a good one, high on the entertainment value, and since there's no necessity for a right wing argument to hold any water, just as functional as the rest of what comes out of the Rightist spin machine.)
Well if you want to take a comment out of context and use that as proof of something knock yourself, out. Imagine FDR trying to answer as to Hitler's whereabouts in Jan 1943. He is fighting a war against a loosly linked org and associated groups, trying to amke a war about 1 man is foolish.
If you think killing OBL is the end point of the war you will be disappointed when he is killed and ISlamic terrorism continues. There is a whole infrastructure to be dismantled.
Patsfan13 here's the link I posted about bin laden.
Your response to this report.

I responded to your quote with this
I went to the video clip (the first one you've posted BTW). It was a clip from a debate followed by an excerpt taken out of context from a news conference BFD. Many in the pres feel the WOT is actually a criminal chase for OBL like it Melvin Purvis vs Bonnie and Clyde. It not the WOT is about defeating a movement not 'bringing OBL to justice' declareing victory and coming hime. This seems to totally confuse the left. He is trying to win a world wode war and the reporter is trying to play gotcha about killing 1 if the bad guys.
If you are obsessed about the scorecard here is a link to the list of dead Al Queda leadership in case you didn't see it the first time I posted it.
This is how you responded to my link and post that explained how a cia commander asked for us grountroops to block bin laden escaping.
Then this how you responded to a video I posted where bush say's he is not concerned about bin laden
Then you did this
How many angels are on the head of your pin?
