I really don't get why some folks are making a big deal of Moss's absence.
I guess it's all part of today's media trying to create stories that don't exist.
How many games did Deion Branch miss to Hamstring issues?
Moss has had plenty of time to gain comfort with Brady and vice versa prior to pulling up hurt.
Regaining that comfort won't be difficult.
People have gone as far as wondering whether he'll play in the forseeable future. Where do they get this junk from?
You don't collect 10,000 yards + receiving in NFL by age 30 by NOT PLAYING.
Moss is being held out by an extra-cautious Bill Belichick, who has the luxury (and the faith in Moss's talent) to wait, given how many other damn WRs he needs to decide on right now.
It's amazing to me that something as plainly obvious as this can get past the media, who seem to be far more focused on what may be a better story - Moss is dogging it! - than the truth. While I suppose I "get" why they want to go in that direction, it's just setting them up to look stupid in the end, being on the wrong end of "I told ya so."
