    Seems like a nice guy.

If that's as hot as he gets when he's really pissed, then he has a good demeanor.

I've seen a lot lot lot worse.

I can tell you from personal experience and from people who work for and with him, that he is about as good as it gets. Whether it's knowing the names and situation of every single person in the building and their families, to being patient, to being a true old-school gentleman, there aren't many guys nicer in the business. He's class, through and through.

I'm sure everyone has stories about everyone, and maybe he has a side I don't know.

But everyone's entitled to a bad day, and my suspicion is that whatever happened there was really unprofessional and that the guy probably spent the next week apologizing after that outburst.

:D I love Chris "Jesus!" Berman. That was funny. You gotta admit, he does have a point. I don't blame him one bit.

Dont see anything really wrong with what just happened. Everythings timed in this business and if you dont get your act together and put out the product you get the axe not the background people. I can understand exactly what hes so upset about. People ,7 apparently, were walking directly in front of or under the prompter in which he has to read from. That can be distracting.

He sounds... normal, wow, what a surprise! I thought it was kind of funny, but it wasn't anything out of the norm. Everyone does it. And he had a point, people shouldn't have been walking in front of the prompter.

By the way, is he drinking a beer? Hahaha!

Comic gold. The only thing missing from the rant is his famous "WHOOP!!!"

But the guy does have a point. Even a retarded monkey could figure out that you don't walk in front of a teleprompter while someone's reading from it

I remember when ESPN made its television debut in 1979 (I believe that was the year)

Chris was great back then as a young reporter and even better today.

Come on, this is funny, sure he may have had a point, but seeing anyone go on a rant when it isn't against you is hilarious.

Really? So you wouldn't have been pissed if people were walking in front of a teleprompter when you were on the air and trying to read from it? What if you were a dentist and someone kept tapping you on the shoulder while you were drilling teeth? Or a carpenter who couldn't cut wood because someone kept putting their hand on it? Let's be honest, Berman just reacted the way anyone would have.
