I've got to say that, while it's very early in the process for these teams, I've been far more impressed with the way that McDaniels and Pioli have begun their respective tenures than I was with Mangini in New York.

All the reason for me to be happy and root for the Chiefs in their respective division. Reasons why I just can't?

By the way Adam Schefter says the ESPN report that Shanahan is going to be the Chiefs head coach this year is NOT true.

As I post that, ESPN is hyping Sports-Center with the Shanahan to Chiefs story, this should be funny.
