Read through his stuff...it is apparent that he believes what he is writing. It truly is some good comedy, though. Patriots are in decline. Vinatieri is the one move to put them over the top. Addai is the next Emmitt Smith...blah, blah, blah. Someone ought to tell him that Peyton Manning told Tom Brady that Maroney was the back Indy targeted...

Signing free agent kicker Adam Vinatieri was huge. Vinateri is the best kicker in football. He can kickoff well, which means the Colts no longer have to carry a kickoff specialist on the roster. Kool-Aid drinking Patriots fans will say Vinatieri is not all that great, and that Bill Belichick must have known something was wrong with his health to let him slip to the rival Colts. Such silly nonsense is the desperate rambling of fans who know their team is dying. The Colts snatched Vinatieri out from under New England's nose. Vinatieri was the best free agent signing for any team this off season

I love how he says that James would turn a twenty yard run into a five yard run. James constantly would wait out a play for blocks to develop and get 7 to 10 yards. I can't count how many times I saw that happen. He'd just get caught behind or at the line often enough to offset it.

Other than the fact that the Texans and Titans are both in their division they actually have a pretty tough schedule. Their out-of-division games are the Broncos and Bengals plus the AFC East and the NFC East. Ours are the Broncos and Bengals plus the AFC South and the NFC North.

So we get one more game than them against the Bills, Jets and Fins and they get one more than us against the Texans, Titans and Jags. That's pretty much a wash. But the NFC East (Giants, Skins, Boys and Eagles) is much tougher than the NFC North (Vikings, Bears, Lions and Packers).
