Charting Manning's Passing Attack For the Broncos
By: Ian Logue

Here's a breakdown along with a passing chart of where Peyton Manning had success throwing the football against New England's defense on Sunday....

Deep right.. 3 attempts...1 completion...28 yards and a TD...uh,wait for the All 22...you WILL see Jones blatantly held from behind after beating the Denver OLman..if he doesn't hold that is a sure sack...the flag should be thrown 100 times out of 100 on the play.

Is there any doubt that there is something wrong with Manning's arm/grip on the deep ball? They have no pace at all. If Sterling Moore were bagging groceries instead of roaming the Pats secondary, 3 of those passes never happen. The deep pass to Thomas against McCourty still happens, but only because it was so incredibly weak Thomas was able to get under it and call for a fair catch.

I give Manning lots of credit for still being effective...but it is obvious he is either still injured or the injury has left him impaired. The upside for the Pats is that Moore has finally begun his tumble down the depth chart. We can only hope he ends up on the Jets in time for week #7.
