C'mon Scott. I thought you were better than this.

Scott Brown: Media’s pulling punches with Elizabeth Warren - BostonHerald.com

Do you know why the media is "tougher" on you than Warren at this stage? You are the incumbent and have a voting record.

    Stop complaining about the media.

Who can blame him? He can certainly read the writing on the wall.

He ran on a platform of being the working man and looking out for the citizens of Massachusetts. His ads were brilliant as they showed him in his pickup truck, wearing jeans, a flannel shirt, and he talked a good game.

It also helped that a lot of Democrats couldn't stand Coakley. Everything was in his favour last time. This time around? He has a challenger that a lot of independents will vote for. Coakley didn't get the independent vote last time.

Did you know there are more registered independents in Mass than dems or repubs? I'm pretty sure the rest of the Country thinks that 80% of registered voters in Mass are dems.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending Brown.

I think he realizes he's facing the (heretofore) perfect Senate candidate running in the perfect state... and that unless something major happens to shake the dynamics, will probably end up losing by 8-10 points.

What you're seeing now is desperation on his part.

I knew you weren't defending Brown. In less polarizing political times Brown would be a good Senator. Unfortunately he has folded under the pressure from his fellow Republicans in most of his votes. He votes against the trend every now and then but only on issues that he knows will lose so it doesn't hurt him.

Good Luck Scott. You are going to need it.
