I know he's still a FA and I think many were hoping he could make a contribution last year, what was the nature of his IR status and what are the chances this 34 year old gets another shot at making the team?

I remember he was all but assured a spot on the 53 but then came up lame. I know he's "old" but he looked pretty fast in pre-season last year.

IF Chad Scott Comes Back healthy...He Will be in the running for the other Starting CB.

Scott was, IMO, the Patriots 2nd best defensive back in 2006. He is worth an invitation to camp at the very least.

I agree...signing him would NOT be bad...I wonder how his knee is?? PUP??

They seriously need to pick some people up via trade or something

Chad Scott is no longer worth the paper on which his contract would be printed. He is, sadly, too old and too injury-prone. We need, instead, DBs who are younger and more reliable.
