They're after Limbaugh and talk radio again, boy don't they hate opposition or somebody talking back to them, the new media is driving them insane.

They can't compete in talk radio because the American people don't want to listen to them so they want to destroy all talk radio, vicious rotten bastards, "freedom" they scream then when anyone criticizes MoveON oh boy watch out when their enemy's try a little of that freedom stuff then out come the "CENSORS".

Go get em Rush, give them a good slapping around and straighten out that sniveling little skunk Harry Reid.

Harry Boy, you're defending a double standard! Move On was blasted for their General Betray Us ad; and now liberals and Democrats are daring the righties to apply the same standard to Rush. Just shows what hypocrites the righties are.

Which same standards Patte's. Moveon which is funded by Soros a major funding source for the dems posted an ad attempting to smear a man who was approved by a bipartisan vote in the Senate. He has done an outstanding job in his post. For example civilian deaths are down dramatically in Iraq as well as deaths of US troops.

The attack on Limbaugh is totally dishonest whether you like Limbaugh or not. Limbaugh was commenting about people who were representing themselves as soldier who has served in combat, who had lied (some have been convicted and put in prison for their fraud). Reid dishonestly is trying to make it look as if he was attacking troops who are serving honorably. Although given the fraud committed by fake soldiers in the Winter soldier hearings, apparently the dems don't like their dishonest attacks on the integrity of our troops exposed,

Unlike H Reid, J Kerry and J Martha, Limbaugh has helped raised money for the troops and given a lot of time to visiting the troops for something other than a political prop.

Just heard this one on the tv (didn't want to start a new thread). A manager at the Ford dealership in Georgetown, Texas took out an advertisement in the newspaper. Don't want WET BACKS. Then underneath, had a promotion for air conditioning. He got fired. Surprised he would even consider the ad, as the population in that area is so densely populated with Hispanics, among other obvious reasons.

Nope. But that's not why I don't listen to Limbaugh. I don't listen to him because he's a partisan idiot.

That being said, WTF is going on in the Senate? Why are we wasting time on Rush Fricking Limbaugh? Is this what the Dems were promising when they were running in November? Seriously? Even the stupidity of wasting time on MoveOn is upsetting. Our government is so broken.

First of all, it's a waste of tax payer time in both instances.

Secondly, I heard the Rush remarks and he was talking about the fony soldier J-something Macbeth. At any rate, the Moveon ad was utterly distasteful, but propogandzing it in the senate is a waste of my money. Talk abou it all you want OUTSIDE of the halls, just don't waste my money talking about it in them. I'm glad to see our money goes to kiddy games about I know you are but what am I. Some platform eh?

OK, who funds Moveon is irrelevent to it being discussed in the halls of congress. IT's A WASTE OF TAX PAYER MONEY AND TIME.

That being said, the Rush remarks, as much as I dislike the man, were about ordinary people who lie about being a soldier. People which we've discussed in here. I saw Hardball tonight and was totally disappointed in Matthews dishonesty. The press in this country, on both sides, is disgusting. No one is honest anymore.

Ah, you're just rationalizing a double standard. I heard exactly what Rush said, and now the right is trying to spin it. Very dishonest, but that's nothing new. The right's hypocrisy on the double-standard issue is laughable, and the polls are showing you're fooling fewer and fewer people these days.

That's spin. You obviously didn't listen, or are only hearing what you want to hear to rationalize your double standard.

The fact that the guy who escaped the draft in 1970 by way of a pimple on his ***** calling anyone else a 'phoney soldier' is what we really ought to be talking about.

The guy the Troops should be worrying about is John Murtha not Rush Limbaugh

The democrats just put Rush Limbaugh on the front page of every newspaper in the world (They Publicly Condemed Him)
    http://www.drudgereport.com/flashsr.htm

The democrats have just started their "book burning" crusade, they are hell bent on Censoring, Condeming, and Outright Banning all of "Talk Radio"

They tried to compete using Al Franken and Jeanne Garafool but the people rejected their smear hate crap and filthy gutter talk so now they want Talk Radio Banned.

I am now beginning to understand why many in the Left Wing have these little Love Affairs with "Dictators"

The democrats are now in the process of doing to Rush Limbaugh and Talk Radio exactly what Hitler, Chavez and Castro would do.

    .

The Hard Left isn't quite dead, yet. They just changed their names. But they still want what they've always wanted: total control over everything. And when they get it (think: Russia, Eastern Europe, Cuba, Vietnam, North Korea, etc.), they turn those places into mausoleums for living corpses. They trade "capitalist mega-billionaires" for "the peoples' care-takers of the wealth, the media (Thought Police), and all industry".

Ha. What a load of manure.

Try getting a dissenting opinion published in Russia these days. Or Iran. Or Cuba, Venezuela, or Zimbabwe. Or anywhere else the "anti-capitalist progressives" hold sway. And when you do, "good luck"; you're going to need it.

They're trying the classic redirection strategy, attempting to deflect the disgusting remarks by moveon.org by turning the tables on Limbaugh.

I don't mind the strategy itself, it's just too bad they are completely lying through their teeth. Rush has specifically laid out that when he talks about "phony soldiers," he is referring to the anti-war people who have become media sensations who completely lied about their involvement in Iraq. Notable examples of this are Scott Thomas Beauchamp, who got caught completely lying about writing diary entries from Iraq and Jesse MacBeth, who became the darling of the radical left for exposing all the horrible war crimes he personally witnessed in Iraq. Too bad the truth is MacBeth never made it out of boot camp.

So what happens is someone who listens to a single soundbite of Limbaugh jumps to all the wrong conlusions over what his littler terms means. Throw in a dash of scumbag left wing lies, and this is what happens.

Those are the people Rush calls "phony soldiers". Any attempt to distort that phrase is just gutless, reprehensible lies from the radical left.

Exactly, the Democrats took a beating on the MoveOn crap and now they are using Limbaugh to divert the attention, Limbaugh can be a pain in the a$s at times but that little weasel Reid and his gang of grinners better not underestimate Limbaugh he has millions of listeners and this could turn out even worse than the MoveOn junk.

Spin, spin, spin, but you're not going to spin out of your double standard. MoveOn said something that you thought was wrong, but now you're defending Limbaugh for calling soldiers who disagree with policy "phonies." He was not referring to Jessie whats-his-name, though he is claiming that as part of the spin campaign. Lots of laughs to the double standard of the right. No wonder the right wing is losing ground:
