Surprisingly, this pick doesn't make me throw up in my own mouth.
I still think that trading for Ray Allen was a copout.
I'm just afraid how bad our defense is going to be.
Pruitt has good offensive skills but is supposed to be weak defensively.
Ray Allen has been an average defender at best and is coming off surgery.

Well here is Gabe's scouting profile.

Again, the whole Ray Allen is an average defender thing is just regurgitation. I've seen him play enough to make up my own mind. He'll play solid D for the C's and he'll be alongside a very strong defender in Rondo.

Pruitt seems like a solid pickup, but we need to get a big soon with 35, unless we have other plans in attaining a big.
