    Before there was Pat Summerall, Ray Scott was the #1 football announcer on CBS.

    3 to be 4 lurks on all the boards, and just keeps posting his you tube stuff. He does not seem to listen to the feedback about why does he do this stuff, as it does not generate much discussion.

    Yep, I remember him. I think he did the play by play for the very first SB too in Jan of 67 if I remember right.

    Yes I remember Ray Scott from the 1960s. Terrific broadcaster, one of the best ever. Pat Summerall was his usual analyst.

    Nice blast from the past. He was the voice of the NFL that I remember from my childhood. Thanks for posting this.
